Japanese linen and wool Tapestry, ver.5Expertly crafted, contemporary, elegant and refined textile work from Aotearoa. Rachel Long had undertook a course, learning a Japanese traditional weaving technique called 'Kasuri' in Kyoto Japan in Oct Dec 2024. Long was a recipient of The Practitioner Fund of Asia New Zealand Foundation in 2024. This collection has made after the successful exhibition in June this year.
