Ficus religiosa
Description
Ficus religiosaFicus religiosa is native to Southeast parts of Asia. Though you can grow this plant into a full tree, they're also a great plant to bonsai. You can train them to grow a thick trunk by pruning them back rather than letting them grow tall. Care: We recommend watering every 10 12 days during spring through fall. They are deciduous trees so in the winter they may or may not drop leaves to conserve energy, DO NOT toss it, just keep watering it roughly
A really lovely Calathea
their trunks can swell to incredible sizes
which can sometimes develop an intriguing dark burgundy or purple hue
We have found they not only do great in bright filtered spots
They don't want to scorching light
They can handle some direct sun
The will eventually put out little flowering structures with miniature orchids at the tips
This Peperomia has been our our wishlist for a while
Although they do just as nicely in a potted planter
This philodendron has many shades of green on it's it's long broad leaves
As a tropical plant
this species is heavily associated with descriptions by Charles Darwin
