Gerard Dole - Paris Street Music - the Mechanical Pipe OrganIn the mid 1970s, a few aficionados of mechanical street music revived the pre World War I tradition of organ grinders by building new instruments and making new folding punch cards for these devices to play. Robert Hopp built the organ heard on this recording, Pierre Charial created the cards, and Gerard Dele operated the instrument.
