The 2020 High on the Hog is a blend of 48% Grenache

it hums with memory — of wind and salt

but just 78% of production in the 1st wine

with barely-there tannins and a subtle granitic snap keeping it from veering into simple quaff

leaving them with a huge donut in their P&L statements because of no wine to sell

and plum skin—has folded gracefully into savory tones of iron
